Dear Families,
We've certainly kept busy over the past few weeks with camp, gala days, and Reconciliation Week activities.
Canteen
We are currently in the process of selecting a new canteen operator. An announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
Staffing news
We are pleased to announce that Mrs Elizabeth Heritage has successfully secured the position of Assistant Principal, Special Education, through a merit selection process. With nine years of experience as a teacher and leader at our school, Mrs Heritage is highly skilled and deserving of this promotion. Congratulations, Mrs Heritage!
School Promotions Campaign
Our school has been chosen to participate in a public education marketing campaign. Over the next few weeks, you may see our promotional materials featured on social media, in newspapers, and on the radio. Please keep an eye out, and if you spot any marketing materials, we’d love for you to share them with us.
Uniform shop sale
This week, discounted school uniforms will be available for sale under the hall COLA before school. Be sure to stop by and grab a bargain!
Public speaking competition
On Tuesday June 10, we will hold our annual school public speaking competition. Families are invited to come and watch our class finalists compete for the chance to represent our school in the Network Public Speaking competition later this term. We wish our finalists the best of luck!
Public holiday
Please note that Monday, June 10, is a public holiday, and students are not required to attend school on this day.
Kind regards,
Michelle Barnes
Principal
