Dear Families,
We are thrilled to share that Term 2 has begun wonderfully.
New Class in Stage 1
We have experienced a significant increase in student enrolments in our Stage 1 classes during Term 1, 2025. To alleviate class sizes and enable teachers to provide more personalised support for our children's learning and wellbeing, we have introduced an additional Stage 1 class, which commenced this week. This new class, named 1/2A, will be taught by Miss Hannah Arsovski. We warmly welcome Miss Arsovski to our Stage 1 teaching team.
Canteen
The process of selecting a new canteen operator is currently underway, and we expect to share updates in the coming weeks.
Breakfast Club
We are excited to announce that our school will now host a Breakfast Club every day. This initiative will be supported by community volunteers, P&C members, staff, and Year 6 students. A special thank you to Keiraview Uniting Church, Food Bank and our P&C for providing the food for our Breakfast Club.
Life Education
This week, Healthy Harold is visiting our school in the Life Education van. Students will learn about maintaining healthy and safe lifestyles, as well as the significance of making good decisions. We appreciate our P&C for funding this valuable initiative for our children.
Sporting Carnivals
We wish all our runners the best of luck at the district cross country carnival tomorrow. Additionally, next Wednesday is our school athletics carnival, and we invite families to join us for the event.
Mother’s Day Stall
I send a huge thank you to our P&C and community volunteers for organising our annual Mother’s Day Stall. It was wonderful to see our children making their purchases this morning. I wish all mothers and carers a very happy Mother’s Day, and thank you for the vital role you play in the lives of our wonderful children.
