Staffing news
I warmly congratulate Mrs Rachael Ebens who was successful in gaining permanent employment as a School Learning Support Officer at our school in the past week. Mrs Ebens has been working at our school in a temporary capacity for many years. I am so thrilled to welcome her to our school in a permanent capacity. Her compassion, care and dedication are an asset to our school.
This week we also welcome Sonya McDougall to our school as a School Learning Support Officer. Mrs McDougall is an experienced School Leanrnng Support Officer Keira High School. On behalf of the WWPS community, I extend a warm wlecome to her.
Sadly, this week we farewell Mr Treigh Stewart who has been offered a full time football contract with the St George Dragons. We will dearly miss Mr Stewart's calm nature, genuine care and sense of humour and wish him all the best in his new and exciting adventures.
Presentation assembly
Our presentation assembly will be held on Monday 28 November at 9:15am in our school hall. This will be the first time we have had a whole school assembly in recent years due to COVID. Families of award recipients will receive a phone call to invite them to the assembly in teh coming weeks.
End of 2023
Monday 19 December has been declared a school developemnt day. School will finish for students on Friday 16 December.

I extend a huge thank you to our P&C for coordinating our recent Grandparents’ Day and Kindergarten orientation morning tea. Our school is so lucky to be supported by such a dedicated, vibrant and energetic group of volunteers. Thank you P&C!
