Dear families,
Office renovation
Our office renovation to increase space for the administration area is nearing completion. We should have our lovely new space ready for the community to enjoy early next term.
School photo day
Thank you to all families for ensuring that children were punctual and dressed in full school uniform for our school photos. The photos were taken efficiently and easily and should be ready for distribution to families next term.
Staffing news
Mrs Shelley Donaldson has been successful through a merit selection procedure in acquiring the position of Teacher, Special Education at our school. She will be the class teacher of K/6D, a new support class being established in Term 2. Welcome back to our school Mrs Donaldson!
Mr Johnny Taue’e has been successful through a merit selection procedure in acquiring the position of School Learning Support Officer, Special Education at our school. He will support children in K/6H from next term. Congratulations Mr T!
We welcome back Mr Nathan Leatigaga who will be the class teacher of K/6H for Term 2 while Mrs Jenine Hickey takes some well deserved long service leave.
Last day of term
This Friday is the final day of school for Term 1. Our school will be holding our ANZAC service at 9:15am. This will be followed by a movie/disco/popcorn afternoon organised by our SRC. The SRC are developing their leadership skills through organising events such as this.
School resumes for children after the Autumn holidays on Tuesday 30 April.
Easter and Eid
I hope all families who celebrated Easter last week had a fabulous time. I also wish all families who are currently celebrating Eid, a fun, happy and joyful time with loved ones.
