Dear families,
We are having a very busy end to the school year. Thank you to all families for supporting so many school events during such a busy period of the year.
Showcase assemblies
Our Term 4 showcase assemblies are occurring this week. These are special assemblies where children will showcase their learning to families. The assemblies will be held in our school hall on the following dates.
Monday 20 November at 2:15pm– Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6)
Tuesday 21 November at 2:15pm – Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
Wednesday 22 November at 2:15pm – Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten)
Thursday 23 November at 2:15pm – Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
Friday 24 November at 2:00pm – Support unit (K/6B, K/6L and K/6D)
All families are warmly invited to attend.
Presentation Assembly
Next Monday 27 November at 9:15am our school will be holding our annual Presentation Assembly. This is a very special event where we celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of our children throughout the 2023 school year. The parents/carers of award recipients were phoned last week to have an invitation extended to them to attend the assembly. Families of award recipients are also invited to attend a morning tea following the assembly.
Extracurricular assembly
This year our school will also be holding an additional assembly to acknowledge our school choir, dance troupe, talent development groups and sporting champions. This assembly will be held on Monday 4 December at 9:15am. Parents/carers of award recipients and performers will receive a written invitation this week.
School Bytes
Thank you to the many parents and carers who have downloaded the School Bytes app to their mobile phones. If you have not yet done so, please download and add the app to your phone. We would hate for any family to miss out on important notifications.
Semester 2 reports
Semester 2 reports will be shared with families on Wednesday 13 December. This semester, reports will be distributed to families digitally through School Bytes. It is essential that all families are able to use and access School Bytes in order to access your child’s report. Please contact our office if you would like support in the use of School Bytes.
Enrolments for 2024
Our school is currently planning for 2024 and are doing our best to anticipate student enrolment numbers. If you know of any new family moving to our area in the coming months who have children who will be enrolling at our school, please encourage them to make contact with our office as soon as possible.
Alternatively, if your family is moving out of our area and your children will not be attending our school in 2024, please also inform our office.
Last day of school for 2023
The last day of school for children in 2023 is Friday 15 December.
