As our period of remote learning is drawing to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the entire Wollongong West Public School community. What a few months it has been!
Thank you to our amazing staff who have worked tirelessly over the past few months at very short notice to completely revolutionise regular teaching methods, juggle online and face to face to delivery and do all of this with their usual positive attitude. All staff are to be commended for their relentless commitment to student wellbeing and learning.
Thank you to our parents/carers who have supported our children with remote learning while managing the stresses of their own careers and households. Your support, patience and flexibility has been truly appreciated by the staff of our school.
And most importantly, thank you to our incredibly resilient, skilled and determined children who have had their entire world turned upside down. Your bravery, commitment to learning and inner joy has made all of us proud.
Only 3 sleeps to go until we can welcome all of our kids back to school full time. YIPPEE!
